Our mission: To create earth-conscious, functional, and beautiful wooden products.  

Little Barn is a small family-run business comprising of Sam and Gem. We live in the hills of West Wales on a small holding with our two children. We are keen permaculture gardeners, aiming to live as simply and gently as possible, weaving our lives alongside our environment and community. 

We are inspired by the three founding permaculture ethics ; Earth care, People care, Fair share, and intend to use them as a framework for the future of Little Barn.

The furniture we make celebrates our way of life; the simplicity of form, echoing a timeless design. Working slowly using traditional woodworking techniques and processes, we believe enhances the natural beauty of the material and honours the skills of the craftworkers of yesteryear. 

We aim to celebrate each piece of wood by creating simple, functional, and beautiful furniture that will be used and loved for generations.
